Heritage Designs Energy-Efficient Doors and Windows with Extruded Aluminum Frames
At Heritage, we built a reputation for being green - even before it was popular - through our environmentally-conscious designs. Our energy-efficient windows have been on the cutting edge of the industry for the past 30 years. As early as the 1980’s, Heritage was one of the first manufacturers to use low-E glass in our doors and windows. In the 1990’s we designed continuous spacers, which allow the use of argon gas in our double glazed units. In 2001 we developed a line of thermally broken windows and doors for maximum energy efficiency. Today, we offer a variety of energy star products, are a proud member of the USGBC (LEED), and use between 30-40% recycled aluminum in our frames. At Heritage, we are always finding new ways to make our products more environmentally friendly, more energy efficient and – well, more green.
