(South Plainfield, NJ) The Salon Professional Academy of New Jersey (TSPA) is pleased to announce that one of their beauty school students has won this year’s Redken 5th Ave NYC Scholarship worth $2,500. This is the second year that one of their NJ beauty school students had been selected by Redken to receive this scholarship.

Every year, Redken 5th Ave NYC hands out 10 beauty school scholarships, in the amount of $2,500. The scholarship funds awarded help students pay for tuition, fees and books needed to complete their training after graduation. Scholarship awardees are chosen by the Redken 5th Ave NYC Scholarship Advisory Board based on their submitted applications as well as educational and career goals.

NJ residents interested in pursuing a career in cosmetology and/or esthetics are encouraged to learn more about the beauty school courses offered through TSPA. The school also offers a Refresher Course and an Educator Training programs for beauty professionals who want to take their career a step further and share their experience and passion with future professionals. TSPA has a commitment to their students not only to provide them the knowledge to pass the state board, but to take them on a journey to a higher level of education. The curriculum provides tools for strong technical skills, communication and a business plan.
