Germane’s exhibit this year will include three exciting new rugged computing products
1. A transit case integrated system containing a MIL-STD 810G COTS based server and planar antenna creating a satellite based Wide Area Network (WAN). The combination of a server in a transit cast combined with a satellite transceiver is commonly referred to as “WAN in a Can”.
2. The XtremeBox a sealed mobile computer that is capable of continued operation even when immersed in water. This rugged sealed unit comes standard with military connectors and is designed to meet the rigorous requirements of MIL-STD 810G.
3. The ToughBox series of air cooled mobile data capture systems that is available with 4 hot-swappable disk drives. Combining the power of an Intel mobile processor with 2 1Gb/sec Ethernet ports in a small form factor chassis provides a rugged mobile video capture system.
